Traditional and Contemporary Worship

 Traditional 8:30 & 11 am
Our Traditional services, in the main sanctuary, follow the more traditional order of worship experienced at most Methodist churches. On Sunday mornings we sing hyms, recite creeds, say the Lords Prayer, read aloud from the Psalms. At 8:30 am The Sunrise Choir will lead worship and at the 11:00 am service a full choir (The Mountain Park Choir) will lead. Also, at least once a month the Mountain Park Orchestra will play, along with Soloist and musical ensembles and the Celebration Singers (our youth choir) will sing.

Senior Minister Gary Whetstone will bring our messages. We also hear from our other pastors, including Reverend Tara Paul & Reverend Deanne Lynch & Pastor Emeritus Charles Barnes.

 Contemporary 11 am

Our Contemporary Worship Service, in the chapel, offers an "upbeat" and less traditional expression of worship on Sunday mornings at 11:00 am with Rev. Tara Paul bringing the message. A place for the weary to connect with Jesus and recharge their souls through warm fellowship, praise music, creative dramas, public prayer concerns, power point and biblical teaching.  Come dressed casually and worship openly.

Music is provided by the Mountain Park Worship Band.  If you're looking for something different and relevant come as you are and experience worship in a meaningful new way.
